  1. I have been using and loving Helium for at least ten years. I do not like the new version. I do not like the gloomy color. I do not like the difficulty of editing titles etc. I do not like the difficulty of seeing my entire collection (some 50.000 mp3 files) and being able to deal with them album by album. I can probably get used to some of the new “features” if the interface were still the simple, straightforward interface I have been used to. Fortunately, I downloaded version 12 onto a laptop and not onto my “big” machine, so I have not ruined that database as of yet. I will continue to use it on the laptop to see if it works and has some redeeming features, but as of now, I see none. I will have to continue using Helium 11 — even without support — until I find something that really suits my needs. And, by the way, my collection is 95% classical (an estimate) and I have had to use the wonderful ability of Helium to make it suit my needs. Please don’t take away from me what you have previously provided!!! I great fan of Helium . . . but not of 12 — SO FAR.

    1. Sorry you don’t like Helium 12. This is just the first release and we are aware that there are glitches here and there and that some things needs to be ironed out. We welcome all feedback!

If you exclude the colors and new UI look, which specific views and tools from Helium 11 are you missing?
The most of them should be there – we think. For example, you can use the Music explorer with filters to browse only parts of your music, just like before.
The tag editors should be almost identical, but with more features.

We would love to hear more about this so that we can extend Helium 12 to be even better!

Thanks in advance for your input.
